It's that time once again for the annual Great Food Bloggers Cookie Swap. It's my second year participating and I loved this cookie so much last year that I decided to pay it forward and make some else fall in love with it this year. This is my 2014 cookie submission - Beurre and Sel Jammers.
Warm scones for Sunday brunch. Hmmm my absolute favourite brunch item in the world. I'm back with yet another scone recipe. They're quick and easy to make and very easy to photograph especially when I've people who are hungrily waiting to finish taking pictures so that I can eat. Enjoy!!!
I had my first Basque Potato Tortilla in Barcelona and I've never looked at eggs and potato the same way again. These days I'm feeling the urge to pack y bags and hit the open road, and since I can't make that dream a reality, I'm reliving my adventures through the food that I cook. Today I'm feeling the lure of Spain and Basque cuisine. Viva España!
Sugar, cinnamon, flour, yeast, butter and did I say sugar. These are some of the ingredients that go into making my cinnamon buns, the cinnamon buns I've been making ever since I first had them many years ago. There is something about the yeasty smell of those buns baking that reminds me of fall and gooey, messy bits of goodness.
This is my last week of posting ice cream Sunday’s *sob*. My waistline is thanking me because it may or may not have expanded a wee bit from all of the ice cream that I’ve been making and eating this summer. So I've saved my best and 2nd most favourite for last homemade Cookies 'n Cream Ice Cream.
I've been eating ice cream all summer long, so when the opportunity came along to try a Paleo Salted Caramel recipe I jumped at the opportunity. Salt, caramel, Ice cream and healthy - seems like a no fail proposition to me. I'm pretty sure the recipe didn't turn out the way it was intended but it tasted good to me so I thought I'd post it anyway.
